Treating Your Mental Health Needs
Approach
I possess experience in working with children, families, and individuals who are in crisis or struggling with substance abuse. Over the years, I have provided psychotherapy to individuals facing severe mental and behavioral health challenges. My therapeutic approach is primarily Strategic and Behavioral, yet it is integrative and strength-based. I believe that therapy is a process that should be tailored and shaped according to each client's unique needs.
My areas of special interest include crisis management, relationship issues, stress management, depression, anger management, women's issues, trauma, substance abuse (Seeking Safety), and assisting troubled teens. I hold the belief that therapy, much like many aspects of life, is a collaborative journey with the client, aimed at uncovering the root of their challenges and working together towards healing.

Payment Options
Acceptable forms of payment are: Cash, Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express), PayPal, and Zelle. At this time, I am “in-network” with Optum | United Healthcare. I am happy to provide a Superbill statement if you have a PPO Plan that provides compensation for “out-of-network” providers, which you can submit to the third-party of your choice to seek reimbursement. Please make sure to check with your plan about reimbursement of fees.
We ask that you check your coverage carefully, so you are informed about the benefits offered. Here are some questions to ask:
1. How much is my co-pay for in-network providers?
2. Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits? If so, what is the percentage that is covered for out-of-network providers? What is my co-insurance?
3. What is my deductible and has it been met?
4. Do I need to obtain prior authorization before starting treatment?
Please be aware that submitting information to insurance companies requires disclosure of personal health information specific to the treatment.

Good Faith Estimate:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, which includes mental health care.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, which includes mental health care.
You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises/consumers.
Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy
You are responsible for payment of the agreed upon fee for any missed session(s). You will be billed for a no-show or a cancelation with less than 24 hours’ notice. The fee for missed appointments without timely notification is the full fee of your scheduled appointment.
